The whimsically hushed tones of Novo Amor are back in the shape of ‘Terraform’, a co-write and performance with long-time collaborator Ed Tullett. As we’ve come to expect from them both, ‘Terraform’ is the perfect piece of post-Bon Iver alt. pop – understated yet epic, rich yet minimal and completely gorgeous. To accompany the track is an extraordinary video which tells the story of the Ijen Sulphur Porters who put their lives and health at risk every day by carrying 85 kilos of Sulphur 3.8km down the Indonesian mountains, twice a day, for $10.
